Welcome to BCM!

Follow : Influence

We're excited to kick off a brand new year, and we invite you to come join us as we continue our look at what it means to "follow Jesus Christ to become people of influence."

Whether you've grown up in church your whole life or if you're just beginning to seek to understand this Jesus thing, we'd love to have you be a part of our community and to do life with you.  We invite you to come to Gathering, our Tuesday night worship and teaching time.  But more than that, we invite you to get plugged into one of our ministries, be it a prayer group or our homeless shelter ministry, because we believe that in such groups we really get to know each other and know our Savior.

Our theme last year was Follow, and we looked at Jesus' call on our own lives to follow him.  We studied how he was fully God, and how everything he stands for, God stands for.  We sought to become real-life followers of Jesus, transformed into His image and likeness. This year we're looking at the fruit of what proceeds from following him: Influence.  Influence not for its own sake or for ourselves, but influence for the sake of his Kingdom.

We'll look at the lives of those who followed Christ, Paul in particular, and the way that God used him to leave a mark on history.  Together, we'll seek out how God wants to use us to influence this campus that we study on and this community that we live in.  We'll seek to discover that and then do it, bringing glory to our Father and witnessing transformation in the lives of the students around us.
