We have a phrase that we use to describe the nature of BCM:

Christ-centered, student-led, and campus minister-directed.

So what does that mean?  It means that we are incredibly fortunate in the freedom that our campus ministers give us to set the direction of our ministry and make decisions throughout the year.  In fact, many of the ministries you will see were thought up by students, and this year we've even added a few more which our campus ministers have graciously supported and encouraged!

Each year our BCM is shaped by the students that lead it--not just those on missions team, but also the students that give this ministry life (you!). 

We cannot say enough how much we value working and serving and worshiping side-by-side with every single member of this body.  Because of that, we intend to make sure that every person who wants a part of this ministry--who wants ownership at BCM--will have it.  We hope that this message permeates this entire website, and we want to make sure that the culture at BCM expresses that same desire.

On this page are two cool resources.  One is part of the application packet for missions team for next year.  As you go through this year, prayerfully consider where God may be leading you next year.  There are a ton of opportunities, and you'll have great chances to get your feet wet throughout the year.

Also, we have included here a list of all of the current (2007-2008) missions team members in order to invite you to join us.  If you have a heart for worship and want to get plugged in with that ministry, contact the worship team leader.  If you have a heart for prayer and want to go beyond the prayer ministry that you see on this page, contact the prayer coordinator.  If you care deeply about outreach and showing this campus our Savior, then contact the campus outreach coordinators.  We're serious--they want your help; they need your help.

So figure out where you want to jump in and do it!  You won't be sorry.
