Fundraising
Ride For Christ is a fundraiser for BCM summer missions. Each participant is expected to raise $400 from private or corporate donations. Sponsors can have their logo be included on tshirts but the logo must be submitted by Oct. 8th

Practice Rides & Spin Classes
Everyone must go on at least one practice ride before the trip! The dates of the different practice rides and contact information for the ride leader are listed below. Please contact the leaders either by email or phone if you plan to attend a ride.

*This is a spin class (stationary bike). Remember to bring a water bottle and a towel.
Bicycles
We will need to check each bike before it is used for practice rides. Designated bike check days are Tuesdays and Fridays. When you drop your bike off make sure your name is on the bike. We will have extra tires and basic maintenance equipment at the BCM. If you are using a mountain bike we will replace the tires with road slicks.
Not everyone will need a bike as most people will have partners that they will switch out with.
Equipment
Sunshine Bike Shop of Athens will be offering discounts on clothing, lights and bikes for those who need these necessities. Each rider is required to have bike shorts and lights on their bike. These items can be purchased through your sign up form.
Transportation
To Jacksonville: The first group will leave on bikes just before noon on Thursday, October 29th. Other groups will follow throughout the day. We will have limited space on our mini-buses so we will need folks to drive large capacity vehicles.
Home: Some folks will be leaving Jacksonville on Friday or Saturday but most will carpool back to Athens on Sunday morning.
Hotel Rooms
Limited hotel rooms will be available for $38 (4 per room for 2 nights) at the Courtyard Marriott in San Pablo. You must get your check to Ms. Rhonda in the office by Tues. Oct. 6th.
